Looking back on 2023

A brief summary of some of the 2023 Club activities.

  • The Club has again been fortunate to have ample shells and reloading supplies. This has not been the case at other Clubs. We will have plenty of shells for leagues this year.
  • The Club hosted (2) Hunter’s Safety classes.
  • The Club is proud to continue to host the 4H Club shooting program. Members of the Club make this happen every year to provide an opportunity for our youth to learn safety and shooting techniques.
  • The Club donated to the National Rifle Association, the National Wildlife Turkey Foundation, Brody’s Flowers – which donates flowers to area nursing homes, the Treehouse – protecting children from abuse/neglect and the Wisconsin Conservation Congress (WCC). The WCC is a statutory body where the citizens in Wisconsin advise the DNR on how to responsibly manager Wisconsin’s natural resources.
  • As we have done for many years, we had a Thanksgiving get-together for members who would like to join us on Thanksgiving Day. Participants bring a dish to pass and the Club Officers donate and cook the turkey and ham. Great food and friends! If you would like to join us in 2024, just show up at noon and bring a dish to pass!
  • Spring and Fall Cleanup Day – our members cleaned the club house, did yard work and other necessary tasks to get the club ready for the coming season. Thanks to Master Chef, Larry Aasen, no one went hungry. Please consider helping us in 2024!
  • The annual Rifle Sight-In and Raffle was a great success!Members donated raffle items. Several guns and bucket prizes were won. A special thank you to all those that made donations!
